The Generac 6000 LP3250 is a mid size portable LP generator.  It is capable of producing 3,250 continuous watts and 3,700 surge watts of power.

The LP 3250 has a number of very nice, unique, features.  First, it is the only LP portable generator we know of that has a built-in propane tank holder.  The holder fits both 20 pound and 30 pound propane tanks.  The tank holder in combination with the generator’s wheels and dolly handle make this unit extremely portable – great for emergency use and especially on a work site.

This generator also comes with covered power outlets which are a nice additional feature.

The LP3250 will run about 9 hours on a standard 20 pound LP tank (at 50% load).  This is about average for a portable propane generator.

We recommend this unit overall and especially for those who would need the extra portability this generator provides.
